Logistic Map

A very simple quadratic map serves to demonstrate some of the most fundamental concepts in chaos theory: the period doubling cascade to chaos, exponential sensitivity to initial conditions, and Lyapunov exponents. This demonstration briefly introduces some of these concepts in an exploratory fashion.
